• Brokerage firms. If you use a brokerage firm, for example to open an Individual Retirement Account, you may have access to financial advice. Full-service brokerages offer a range of financial services including personalized investment advice for a fee, but even a discount broker has customer service staff.  

• Green America lists financial planners and consultants who specialize in socially responsible investing. Some may work for a flat fee while others work for a percentage of your investments they manage.   

• Green America’s Green Business Network dozens of financial advisors and planners who have met rigorous standards to be certified as a green business.
